O.K. The pictures are little rough looking, but if any of you have seen the most recent Star Wars: INSIDER then you know just how small these pictures actually are. In any case, for those of you who don't receive the INSIDER, for whatever reason, most of the following pictures came from the November 2002 edition of that publication. The issue basically previews the eight cut scenes that are featured in the Episode II DVD.

"SENATE ADDRESS"

Soon after the failed assassination attempt of the Senator, Padmé addresses the Imperial Senate, stating her opposition to the creation of an Army of the Republic.

"DART ANALYSIS"

Remember the dart that killed Zam early on in the movie? Remember how Obi-Wan was having a heck of a time trying to figure out from where and from who the dart came from? Well this scene was apparently before the meeting with Dex, and proved to be a fruitless effort - the droids were of no help at all. I have not yet seen the scene in question, but something tells me that some needed intrigue at the begining of the movie could have been added if this scene had been included. Another interesting point brought up in the INSIDER was the fact that this particuler scene was the only one of the eight featured cuts, which had the digital effects completed before it was cut. To me, this seems to indicate that this cut was possibly made at the last minute, and was thought to be a decent story telling element in the early part of the film.

"SHARING CONCERNS OVER ANAKIN"

Mace is essentially urging Obi-Wan to have more faith in his Padawan. Apparently this is a nice scene, but I'm going to guess that it was cut out for time constraints (Keep in mind that I'm writing this just before the DVD comes out, which will reveal such information).
